Friends,
The day has finally come: we officially have a public-facing space for Junior Jr. Riso. After years of working out of the spare room in Kacey’s apartment, the chance to share a beautiful space with Devon Gray, an amazing jeweler and ceramicist, came up and we jumped on it.
It’s always been a goal of ours to have a physical space where we can meet with folks to make prints, host pop-ups and classes, and just generally build a cozy little community of artists and art enthusiasts. So when the opportunity for us to have a space arose, we were so excited to go for it.
It’s a big, scary, exciting thing to do, and we couldn’t even consider it without all the amazing people that we work with – print clients, zinesters who attend Kentuckiana Zine Fest each year, and many many friends.
So with that said, we want to invite you to a pop-up event on Sunday, Sept. 28 from 2-5 pm at our new space: 804 Broadway St. Louisville, KY. There will be riso printing, live portrait drawing, and goods for sale, including Devon’s handmade jewelry. We hope to see you there. ❤
